IF IT IS NOT A BABY....THEN YOU'RE NOT PREGNANT!
When that sperm from him, unites with that egg from her a
brand new unique individual is created. The whole genetic code is there. All
the physical characteristics are intact, whether one will look like his Mom or
Dad or even Aunt Shirley is there at conception. Do you know that even
'identical twins' are not totally identical because they do not have the same
fingerprints. We are ten thousand times larger by the 4th week than we
were at conception. In just four weeks (the mother doesn't even
know she's pregnant yet) there is a head with primitive eyes, ears, mouth
and brain, simple kidneys, a liver, digestive tract, a primitive umbilical cord
and a big heart. This amazing beating heart pumps sixty-five times a
minute to circulate the newly-formed blood, and it is completely separate from
the mother's circulation.
By the 11th week
all the internal oragans are present and functioning. He or she breathes,
swallows, digests and urinates. He or she is very sensitive to pain, can
kick his/her legs, wave his/her arms and suck his/her thumb. The majority of
induced abortions take place from the 9th to 16th week after conception.
By the 12th week
this incredible heart is pumping up to six gallons of blood a day! The baby now
gets food, oxygen and water from the placenta, which is the Latin word for
"cake." The awesome fact is that the placenta, membranes, cord and amniotic
fluid are all formed from the original fertilized egg.
At 16 weeks
(4 months) the placenta is a powerful organ which performs the functions of the
adult lungs, kidneys, liver and bowels etc...The Baby just continues to grow
and develop...from fetus to infant to toddler to adolescent to adult to senior
and can live up to 70 years of age if not killed.
This new creation is NOT a potential human being, but a HUMAN BEING
with potential!
